Experienced with high-volume manufacturing. The role demands a flexible can-do attitude, is hands on and is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical issues within a fast-paced manufacturing environment recording activity is needed which requires the use of a Computerised Maintenance Management System. Must ensure production assets operate efficiently, safely and to the right quality standards to maximise up-time and productivity addressing breakdown issues swiftly and conducting preventative maintenance.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Electro/ Mechanical Engineering Qualification – Minimum NVQ Level 3, City and Guilds or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with electrical bias
  • Strong electrical fault-finding skills with PLC knowledge
  • Competent in both electrical and mechanical maintenance and repairs
  • Knowledge of Lean principles and CI methodologies
  • Action oriented and energetic
  • Desirably from CNC machine background but not essential
  • Knowledge of CMMS an advantage, Shire Pirana used onsite

You will work on a continuous fixed Pitman dayshift schedule, to be worked from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. The working pattern is over a 14 day pay period and consequently repeats every 14 days as follows:
