Following on from the successful launch of Prima Digital Milling Tools in 2018, Prima are pleased to announce the launch of our new tool range – for PMMA. Our PMMA tool range is available in diameters from 0.6mm – 3.0mm.
Developed by Dr Marilyn Goh – Head of Research and Innovation for Prima Digital, Marilyn and her team spent 18 months developing and testing this range. We launched the new range in May 2021 at LMT Chicago.
Leading the way, our 3mm toric shape tool has been manufactured to facilitate a deeper cut. This two-flute tool is designed to cut with less vibration. With the application of our unique nano-crystalline coating, our tools last longer. Furthermore, when used in combination with the correct software*, can reduce your milling time by up to 17%.
Continuing our range, our 0.6mm-2.0mm two-flute ball nose tools with chip breakers* can increase your tool life up to 40 hours due to the durability of our nano-crystalline coating.
