Team Leader Role
To co-ordinate and support OTIF (On Time In Full) for all products and customers, by the means of taking responsibility and accountability for plan adherence, achieving departmental KPI’s, stock accuracy, and overall team performance.
Promote and use health and safety methodology in decision making
Take ownership of quality checks and support creation of work instructions
Achieve departmental KPI’s for overall output and specific customer completion dates
Plan adherence set
Taking control of team briefs and SIC meeting
Clear and precise communication must be used when dealing with internal/external customers and stake holders
Training and development in alignment with departmental needs
Stock accuracy by ownership of internal stock control process as well as PI counts
Complete all appraisals on time
Absence procedure must be adhered to
Step up to cover Warehouse manager role in their absence
The position must motivate the team and lead my example. To encourage discussions and promote all ideas. Training and development opportunities must be fully supported to ensure correct level of skills within the team. Time keeping and absences must be monitored and addressed at the earliest opportunity in line with company policy. Performance to be measured against agreed run rates and provide support to those who require improvement/development.
All decision-making must be guided by health and safety first. Decisions must be made using clear information or data concerning the potential challenge. Communication is key, if unclear double check and get confirmation. Use Knowledge within the team and consider ideas from all members. But most of all take ownership of all decisions and ensure responsibility and accountability for decisions made sit with the position.
Financial responsibility of this position covers stock levels and accuracy.

Knowledge and Skills
Good understanding of health and safety
Demonstrate understanding of quality checks and processes
Knowledge of all packing processes
Able to work SAP/MRP
Demonstrate understanding of stock counts and stock accuracy
Ability to lead and motivate a team
Strong communication with all customers and stake holders
Commitment to individual/team training and development
